JANUARY CRAFTS

**Snowman**
This craft can be done with children from 2-6 years old.

Supplies Needed

How To Do:First, an adult can cut out three circles-small, medium, and large (for children 4 - 6 years old just draw the circles and let them try to cut them on their own). Next you can glue the circles together like a snowman. Squeeze glue all over the three circles and place cottonballs on top of the glue to fully cover the circles. Glue black pom-poms on for eyes. Cut a hat out of construction paper and glue on top of the head. Tie a piece of yarn around the top and middle circles to make a scarf for the snowman.

**Options
*When the snowman is complete you can glue a magnet to the back of it.
*Have the child create a "Winter Night" painting by using white paint on black construction paper. When the painting is dry the child can add sticker stars to the night sky and they can add their snowman by gluing it onto the picture.
