PHY 122/124 - Spring 2009
Physics for the Life Sciences II - Laboratory

Welcome to website for PHY122/124. This site contains information, manuals, worksheets and videos for the laboratory component of the Physics for the Life Sciences II course Spring 2009. Prepatory assignments that must be completed before each of the labs are accessed directly through Blackboard. Despite what it may say in blackboard the lab prep assignment deadlines are not unlimited and the lab prep assignments will dissappear at the beginning of your lab session! Also note that Blackboard does not automatically take the best grade from your MapleTA gradebook, but rather the last grade. Grades in Blackboard will be automatically corrected each Friday.

The labs take place in two adjacent rooms (A118 and A120) and we have two sessions running at the same time. Please make sure that you go to the correct room for the section you are registered in to avoid confusion with the grading of your lab report.

One document that you will need for all the labs in this course is the Error and Uncertainty manual, which you can find here

You may also find this reference page for MapleTA syntax useful for the Preparation assignments.
