This year, with the formation of a new commitee, the Health Awareness Publications Committee, AMSA has created a monthly online Newsletter. The committe gathers information on a specific health topic, selected monthly, and provides important and comprehensive knowledge for its readers. Please take a look at what we have thus far!
Breast Cancer Awareness Issue No. 1
In the 2001-2002 year, Premed AMSA established a Mentorship program with the Stony Brook Medical School AMSA. This year we are continuing the program, unfortunately there are not enough Med students for every Premed Student so we will try to do our best to accomodate our members. The mentorship program is a great way to get a first hand experience of what it is like to be a med student. You may visit lectures with your mentor and learn about their application process and what they did to succeed.
