Mission Statement:

A journal providing students a forum from which they may address contemporary social issues and explore the diversity of their lives – lives shaped by ethnicity, sexual preference, race, economics, religion, etc. We will be accepting essays, poetry, short stories, academic papers, artwork, photographs, etc.

Staff Members:

President/Chief Editor - Christa Liotta
A junior and English/Women's Studies major pursing her secondary education certification. She was part of the initial FOCUS group that got FOCUS back on its feet after disappearing for 3 years. Second year FOCUS member. Second year on E-Board.

Vice President/Assistant Editor - Chrissy Makris
A junior and Psychology/Women's Studies major. She was part of the initial FOCUS group that got FOCUS back on its feet after disappearing for 3 years. Second year FOCUS member. Second year on E-Board.

Secretary - Jennifer James
A junior majoring in Women's Studies with a track in gender, Sexuality and Public Health. Pre-Medical concentration. First year FOCUS member and E-Board.

Treasurer/Art Editor - Katie Sheean
A senior majoring in Women's Studies. First year FOCUS and E-Board member. Would one day like to be an International Human Rights Lawyer.

Art Editor - Lena Tumasymen
A senior majoring in Psychology, minoring in everything. Interested in the arts, especially poetry. First year FOCUS member.
