Greetings SBGC!!!!

First, Let me give honor and praise to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is and forever will be the head of my life. I thank Him because I know that it was He who led me to Stony Brook. When I filled out that application in the Fall of '99, I had no idea that my life would be so blessed and that I would have made friendships that would last a lifetime.

I came to Stony Brook as a shy, reserved girl with a big voice in the last row of alto section. By the time I left, I left as a Mighty Woman of God, ready to conquer Satan's Kingdom through the minstry of music. For that I give Him praise. My experience with the gospel choir has transformed my life and my ministry of praise and worship and I am grateful for that.

To the young woman I met on a cold, January morning in the polity suite, let me say that you have brought so much joy to my life. Lakeisha Barnes, what would Stony Brook be without you. You were there for me whenever I needed you - through family deaths, breakups with boyfriends, finals, everything girl, you were always there. You fed me when I was hungry and we laughed through our entire college career. I love you with all my heart and I pray success over your life. To Tanya, Rani, Melody and the old crew that supported me my first year being musical coordinator, I thank you all for your support and prayers. You guys got me to conquer my fears and take on the ministry given to me by God.

How can I forget Audrey (Snacks)! My partner in prayer. We connected in the spirit in only ways God could understand. You are a mighty woman of God who inspires everyone. I admire you for your determination to please God inspite of what the crowd says. Audrey girl, I love you. And I just want to say, "Your wasting your time, in the party, in the club, in somebody's bed :) LOL!!!!!!! All of the prayer on behalf of the choir paid off.

Suze what can I say. My right hand, always have us singing songs I would have never thought of singing. You are the best and I have learned so much about singing from you. You always supported me and I always made sure I was supportive you and any ideas you had. That's what made our musical bond so tight. Girl, you had us "Setting the Atmosphere, Writing the Vision, Enlarging Our Territories" always remembering that there is "No Condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus." May God continue to bless you i all you do.

To Anhellica, there is so much, and we've been through so much. I pray that God continues to bless you and that you continue to lean on Him at all times. Tanya, Safiya, Raqquiah, Thaashida, and my Essence of Praise Crew, continue to serve the Lord with all your might, lean not on your understanding, keep the fire of God burning in your hearts.

Kevin, what would life be with you. I don really......I wan but I can't (LOL!!!!!) Mighty man of Valor, Integrity, and Honor. You have been a light to me even when my days were dim. Keep that fire for God. And continue to stand for holiness even when the crowd is doing otherwise. I know your wedding is going to be blessed and anointed. Just send my invitation in the mail. And Mr. Gayle, I'm still waiting for that visit to my church. It's been a while. Brandis, I love you with all my heart. I have watch you grow from a freshman and now you are a beautiful woman of God filled with promise. I thank God for bringing you into my life and I pray that you would always seek him and you continue to grow in the admonition of the Lord.

To all those who have crossed my path during my years at Stony Brook, God's blessings on you all. Tricia, you were the best roommate I ever had. All of the musicians, choir would not be the same without you. Sunshine, I love you with all my heart, what would life be without you. You have been such a blessing to me. You taught me how to love again and for that I will always be grateful.

Finally, to those SBGC members left behind: Always put God first and remember that its the anointing that makes the difference.

ya'll gonna have to see with me as I say good bye, its gonna be long, LOL.
Well..........First I must give HONOR to Lord Jesus Christ, the El Shaddai, the Elohim, Jehovah GOD,I praise him for allowing me to have been a part of this wonderful ministry. Its been 8 semesters and I must give God thanks. I was priveleged to be a part of this AWESOME choir, one that sets the standards for other school choirs. As I go, I just gotta BIG up some folks.

Well...here goes....to the Psalmist Evangelist Nicole Hutchinson, WOMAN of excellence, continue to do what God has Predestined you to do for what he has for you, is bigger than your mind can begin to conceive, to MY directress, and the Vocal Dynamist Suze Elisha Principal, never forget that He is the Poitter, and You are DA CLAY, LOL, because you have let him sing through you, your voice has been a source of strength, healing, and inspiration, along with you smile and soft voice, continue to let him use you. Tangela, First Lady of SBGC, Min. Henry..........I cannot wait until you blow up so I can buy the tapes and have a front seat at the conferences!! Altos of the Altos, Aleshia (LeLe and Nicole), I am so grateful that ya'll are my sisters. Prophetess, our connection is heaven made and cannot be broken, Missionary Blunt, you're one of a kind , thank you for every minute you spent, listening, talking and just being there. Candace, Candace M, and Terry-ANN, remember that even when "Yuh CYaaa", you can because of Phil. 4:13, Janelle, Woman of God, Nice Girl, DONT ever lose your Zeal, BTW, ALTOS are the BOMB!!!! (my favorite section, shhhhhh), Raqua,lol, I love you, and I bet you're matching!! :-)LUV ya ALTOS!!

To the Minstrel Sean Letford, I am grateful to God for every thing he used you to impart in my life......I respect your ministry to the highest and I believe that God hand is surely upon your life, Continue Man of Wisdom to reach that Plateau in God you're striving for.....Ryan, my original Breddren, God is a THOCE, aint he? LOL......Audrey, Danielle, Tanya, you all are TOOOO anointed for your own good, I luv ya'll and respect you greatly!! To all the past Gospel Choir folks from 2000 till NOW, thank you for making my experience such a stupendous one, Super Soprano Kathy!!!, Mad Gyal Safiya, Dancing Star Thassidda, LOL< and everybody I luv Ya'LL............P.S.: Big Up to Johanna, I know you are going to be awesome and to Aleshia J, Much Midwood LUV!!!!
