OOOOO MY GOODNESS!!!!! Fellow Choir Members, I thank God for you all each and every one of you all...I thank God FOR Truly giving me a family outside of the BX and JA...I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! The concert was nothing short of a blessing and just simply to kno that God in all His infinite glory came down to Stony Brook Long Island to breathe on us is even now bringing me to tears....I want you guys to know that He is doing something different with us (as one of my favorite songs go "Zion is calling me to a higher place of praise")the unity between us, the fellowship, the zeal for His Glory is amazing...I also ask that we remember those that decided to make Jesus their choice at the concert (If we could just take a second and think of how hard it was for some of us after we first got saved) The devil knows the names of all those individuals and don't underestimate him, he's on the move, but as the word encourages us "WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH STRENGTHENS US" and "IF GOD IS FOR US WHO CAN BE AGAINST US" then we know that they will be ok..Keep those individuals in prayer and if possible try and call them up, talk to them and let them know that they have friends that are on their side!!! aight i realli need to go to class, again, I love you guys...Vaughn, you should have made it clear that you were gonna sing (got me crying messin up my eyshadow and stuff!) keep doing ya thing for Jesus people...im prayin for you all..holla at ya gurl!!! peace!!!

DEAR STONY BROOK GOSPEL CHOIR,

I ATTENDED STONY BROOK FROM 1981-1986 AS A THEATRE DESIGN MAJOR. DURING THOSE YEARS I ACTIVE AS A CHAIRMAN OF THE STUDENT ACTIVITIES BOARD, CREATING THE TOKYO JOE'S CAMPUS NITE CLUB, A PRODUCER FOR STONY BROOK CONCERTS AND FALL FEST, A MANAGER FOR THE FACILTY STUDENT ASSOCIATION'S WHITMAN PUB AND A RESIDENCE LIFE STAFF MEMBER. I ALSO HELPED TO CREATE THE NOW DEFUNCT MPB (MINORITY PLANNING BOARD)TO PROMOTE SOCIAL LIFE CATERED TO MINORITIES. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I SPENT THOSE YEARS BUILDING UP SATAN'S KINGDOM ON CAMPUS IN A BIG WAY. I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I WAS SAVED ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO AND HAVE BEEN SERVING THE LORD SINCE IN MANY PARTS OF THE WORLD AS A SHORT TERM MISSIONARY. PRAISE JESUS, THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL FOR THAT!

I WILL NEVER FORGET THE WITNESS OF A FEW BORN AGAIN BELIEVERS WHILE I ATTENDED STONY BROOK. IN THE MIDST OF PROMOTING ALL KINDS OF DEBAUCHERY TO STUDENTS, THE IMPRESSION THEY MADE ON ME NEVER LEFT ME. THE LORD USED IT MANY YEARS LATER TO DRAW ME UNTO HIMSELF!

I WANT TO ENCOURAGE ALL OF YOU TO PRESS ON IN THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH AND KEEP PREACHING THE GOOD NEWS. GOD WILL USE YOU AND THE WORD WILL GO OUT THROUGH YOU AND ACCOMPLISH ALL THAT THE LORD INTENDS IT TO DO. THE GATES OF HELL WILL NOT PREVAIL! ALTHOUGH I DO REGRET BEING BLIND DURING MY YEARS AT CAMPUS WHEN I COULD HAVE BEEN AN EFFECTIVE VESSEL FOR THE LORD IN THOSE DAYS; THE LORD IS A REDEEMER. I HAVE HAD MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO WITNESS TO MY FORMER CLASSMATES SINCE RECEIVING THE LORD. I HAVE POSTED A BRIEF TESTIMONY ON CLASSMATES.COM AND HAVE HAD NEARLY 200 VISITORS READ IT. PRAISE THE LORD, HE IS GOOD, MERCIFUL, FAITHFUL AND ABLE!

THANKS FOR TAKING A STAND AT STONY BROOK. I WAS ON CAMPUS LAST YEAR AND THERE IS A "NEW AGE" FEEL THERE THESE DAYS. AND SO MUCH BOGUS PRIDE IT MAKES ME ILL. YOUR CLUB IS A FOUNTAIN OF LIVING WATER IN THE MIDST OF AN OCEAN OF LIES. KEEP IT UP, FINISH THE WORK, MAKE DISCIPLES BE COURAGEOUS LIKE JOSHUA, KNOWING THET THE BATTLE IS NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD BUT PRINCIPALITIES IN THE HEAVENLIES AND JESUS HAS PREVAILED! AND HE IS OUR LORD AND KING AND IS COMING SOON TO JUDGE THE LIVING AND THE DEAD. LIFT HIM UP SO ALL MANKIND WILL BE DRAWN UNTO HIM IN THESE LAST DAYS. FOR HE ALONE IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE AND NO ONE CAN COME TO THE FATHER BUT BY HIM ALONE. PRAISE HIS NAME. WE MUST TELL OTHERS AND PROCLAIM HIS GLORY.

Grace & Peace Stony Brook Gospel Choir!

I just wanted to drop a line to the BADDEST Choir this side of heaven! I miss ya'll so much! I hope all is well with ya'll. I'm looking forward to bring my family down to hear ya'll minister this Fall Concert '05. Do BIG things ya'll. E- Board, always remember that your labor isn't in vain. You will reap a HARVEST of blessings if you faint NOT. Keep on keep'n on choir. I was just one of the lives forever changed for the better by this Choir's Ministry. We are experiencing one of the most exciting times on the Chrisitian iteneray. The count down has begun. He's on His way back ya'll. Keep proclaiming this great Gospel cuz the world of Stony Brook needs to hear it!

I'm entrusting the current choir members to keep the choir going because I have a little girl here in Brooklyn by the name of Azariyah who is preparing her vocal chords to be a SBGC member in like 17 years. Make sure that she has a choir to be a member of!

Melonie is a a great human being and she is an excellent singer and if she is a part of this organization than yall must be the best college singers in New York State.
