"Cultura es Orgullo, Orgullo es Exito" Sigma Lambda Gamma is the largest historically Latina-Based sorority in the United States accepting all cultures. We are an acedemic, cultural, service and social organization dedicated to promoting the empowerment of women in higher education. Our primary goal is to promote our evolving and diverse cultures by sharing it with others through our five principles which are: Academics, Social Interaction, Cultural Awareness, Morals and Ethics, and Community Service.  In the Spring of 1995 Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. expanded their goals and ideals at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Today, Sigma Lambda Gamma has become the LARGEST LATINA SORORITY NATIONWIDE with 67 Chapters and 17 Colonies as of 2003. |
