Candle lights, hearts and flowers. If this ain't romance, then what is?

Well we had none of this. But we still had Romance in the air - Chocolate fountain, salsa, ballroom dancing, a spring queen, a spring king and an open dance floor as the cherry on the top. The evening started a little late, but we still managed to do it all. The ball started with a performance of Ballroom dancing, Jive and Salsa by one of our very own Brinda Doshi and Chaitanya Badwe

This was followed by an hour long tutorial by professionals for all of us novices. Boy did our feet and hips hurt at the end of that one. And then came the next fun part of the evening - cookies and cakes and chocolate fountain. After working up an appetite dancing the food was a much needed refueling before the open dance floor. Since no event is complete with some good old desi music, that's what we had during the open floor. The end of the evening was marked by the announcement of the King - Manan Shah, and the Queen - Kadhambari Sridhar.

We sure had the time of our lives that night.
