4. Long Island Rail Road (LIRR)

Stony Brook University bus service is scheduled to adhere closely to MTA's Long Island Rail Road arrival and departure times, picking up and dropping off passengers near the North Parking Lot bus stop (campus side of the station). Enhanced bus service is provided during anticipated peak LIRR usage, such as the beginning and end of semesters, Friday afternoons, and holidays.
