I'm very glad to announce the creation of the long awaited Linux Users' Group @ Stony Brook.<br>

The purpose of a LUG is to provide support, education, and advocacy for the linux operating system as well as a place for its members to socialize.  I hope to be able to bring this resource to Stony Brook. However, as it stands right now I am the only member of LUGSB.  That is where you come in.  We need members.  So, if you are at all interested in Linux, hell, even if you aren't intersted in Linux, send me an email @ markdrago@mail.com and I'll give you some more information.  So, come down and give it a look.  We'll probably be having meetings during campus lifetime, but we'll be having more than one so that we can accomodate all of our good friends from the SBCS who would like to come down.  Once we get a few members and a faculty advisor there'll be flyers and stuff floating around with information regarding meetings and stuff like that.  So, keep an eye out for LUGSB!<br>
