Directors

The New York Institute has co-directors, both of whom have positions in both the Russian and American systems of higher education and extensive experience with international education.

Anna Maslennikova is Professor of Linguistics and American Studies, Department of English Philology, St. Petersburg State University; Senior Lecturer in Russian Studies, Rochester University, She is also the Director of the Center for British and American Studies, Philological Faculty, St. Petersburg State University.

John Frederick Bailyn is Associate Professor of Linguistics, Department of Linguistics, State University of New York at Stony Brook and founder of the American Language center, St. Petersburg. He is also co-Director of the Center for British and American Studies, Philological Faculty, St. Petersburg State University.
