Belt promotion test

Held in Stony Brook on Dec. 15, 2001

The second belt test that our club organized in Stony Brook, was held under the supervision of Master Theodat of Massachusetts. People were testing for yellow, green and blue belts and by words of Master Theodat, "everybody did very well".

Veronika for blue. Peter also got his blue but he was behind the camera, as usually.

 

The whole group of Tae Kwon Do Club plus Misha (the most left) and Master Theodat (the most right) after the belt ceremony was over.

 

During the dinner, Master Theodat made a point about supernatural powers and demonstrated how to break a pencil with a dollar bill and how to break a bottle with a bare hand.

It proved that to do the tricks requires somewhat more skills and practice than it seemed. On the picture: Frank trying to break a beer bottle.
