Welcome to the Undergraduate Chemistry Society

We are a club interested in promoting chemistry to Stony Brook undergraduates and boosting our student-faculty relationships. The UCS web page is an excellent resource for the undergraduate chemistry major. We have links to various websites of chemistry interest, and we also list current chemistry related events on campus. All undergraduates are welcome to join our club.

The club normally meets every Thursday at 8:00 pm in the grad. chemistry building in room 410.  At meetings we often discuss topics of a chemical nature.  We host guest lecturers who talk about research or a specific chemical field.  We can help students become involved in research in the chemistry department and give valuable insight in this area.  In addition we also offer course work help at our meetings including C.A.P.A. help.

We are sorry about the recent confusion about our funding.  Our account was recently locked and we could not update any of the information on the website.   Last semester and during the beginning of this semester we were deprived of our funding.  After submitting our budget to SSC for the third time, they have decided to provide us with funding for the remainder of this semester as of March of this semester.  We are still working on getting our USG funding restored for next semester.

We thank your for your interest and support.
