Globalization is a very important issue that affects everybody in the world. While globalization has its advantages and disadvantages, I believe that overall globalization is a positive phenomenon for the world to be experiencing.

Therefore my main vision for the slideshow was to show the various positive and "negative" aspects of globalization. I wanted the audience to see that overall, globalization was something positive and that it is a massive phenomenon that affects many important parts of everybody's life.

New media enabled me to accomplish this vision. This is because I was able to show images of the globalization's positive effects, such as diversity, cross-cultural interaction, and technology that is used for communication. I also showed images of objects that can be perceived as positive or negative effects of globalization. These include multinational companies and products that were made in developing countries. Furthermore by showing pictures of different objects, the audience could see that globalization has an impact on many aspects of society.
