  • Romance Of The Three Kingdoms by Koei
    -The first of a long list of Strategy games. This one set in Ancient China during the Three Kingdoms period
    caused me to purchase and read through the beautiful 2 volume novel
  
  
  • Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Grey Wolf by Koei
    -Another Strategy Game based on Genghis Khan and his
    ascension to ruler of the mongols and his world conquest
  
  
  • Civilization I-III by Microprose and latter installments by Firaxis
    -Widely Considered as the beginning of Strategy games and the first AI that could destroy you. Highly addictive due
    mostly to its re-playability
  
  
  • Master Of Orion I and II by Microprose
    -A strategy game based on intergalactic conquest. I loved the unique races in this game as well as the creative technology lines
  
  
  • Rise of Nations by Microsoft Games
    -Still currently the strategy game I play most. Well balanced gameplay. Competetive multiplayer via gamespy.
    each Civilaztion is playable with the right strategy. I Highly recommend this game.
  
  
  • Diablo 2 by Blizzard
    -My first multiplayer game. Great Graphics. Many custom character choices to be made and lots of uber items to be found
  
  
  • Ultima Online by EA Games
    - A game still playable after 8 years. Although this game has fallen too far behind from a graphics standpoint
    it retains playability due to it's multiple custom templates and a pvp system that is still superior to most mmorpgs
  
  
  • Dragon Warrior by Nintendo
    -One of my first rpg's. The first game I had to go out and grind exp from small monsters like slimes
  
  
  • Privateer by Origin
    A spacefighter sim game that thrusts you into the role of pirate, merchant, and mercenary
  
  
  • Final Fantasy 7 by Square-Enix
    -Probably one of the best rpg series of all time. This game is still a lot of fun to play.
    Outstanding graphics. Probably one of the best story lines I have ever seen in a game
