My Land

My land is the land of the mostly Free
Of Gold and Diamond and plenty to See
With Timber from the very best of tree
And rivers that flow in the Atlantic Sea

Me and you Patriots should be
Even While in someone elses country
And never forget the hand that bred and fed thee
When we get money

My land is presently divided in three
Demerara, Essequibo and Berbice County
Each with its own exotic beauty
And plenty intresting sites to see

My land is the land of sweet sweet scenery
My land is Guyana, Guyana the Free!
