In this life, we all seek some form of fulfillment - be it nutritional, sexual, occupational or social. The happiest of souls possess a balance of these things, yet these things alone do not provide true solace. It is your state of mind - as well as your basic needs - that determine how you feel.

Stony Brook University is divided down the middle. People view the school as a whole ‘community,’ yet there is a clear division between residents and commuters. There exists almost two separate cultures of students - a social schism between the lonely and the bored that has been opening since the raise of tuition costs.

By all accounts, Zack had been the typical Stony Brook student. He got good grades. He wanted to find a social niche on campus. He thought about girlfriends and breakups, just like all of us. And yet....

There was also something very unique about Zack; it was how and why he thought of these things. Though mingling between different groups of fellow students throughout his years, Zack had always been independent in thought. And we must remember that it is from a human thought which all of our history derives.

Zack is a young man with a very special mission, and this is where his story begins....
