Currently I'm working on a Finite-Element-Modeling approach of mice bones in order to find out how the structure of bones determines the mechanical stresses and strains, which embedded bone cells see.

Understanding the adaptation process of bone to mechanical loading may help in the future to develop new treatments for osteoporosis and other diseases of bone loss.
