My family moved from Korea to Portland, Oregon when I was five years old where I began Kindergarten. After three years, we moved to Washington D.C. and after another three years, we all moved south to Northern Virginia. Unlike most immigrants who permanently plant themselves here in America, my father decided that we should move back to Korea. I began 10th grade in Seoul, Korea, attending an International School until I began my college career at Duke.
