My Schooling Background!

Here's a break down of my Transfer process:

    Hunter College

I attended Hunter College from Fall 2012 - Summer 2014.
I went to Hunter College for Bio Pre-Med under the impression that
I would be able to follow after my sister's footsteps and work at a
hospital in the future. Instead I met my closest friends and realized that I loved art, after
taking my art requirement course.

    Pratt Institute

I then transferred to Pratt Institute from Fall 2014 - Summer 2016.
After realizing that I loved art and design, I applied to Pratt Institute for Interior Design
and got in! My life started to revolve around autocad drawings, design formatting and all around
conceptual design techniques. I was being introduced to many Adobe design programs that I
quickly picked up. I absolutely loved using them. I later found out that the tuition
was affecting my financial situation at home and couldnt stay any longer which was a
complete bummer.

    Stony Brook University

Wanting to continue designing and applying these skills that I learned from the adobe programs,
I knew that I had to transfer to a more affordable school but with a more technical background
in their art program. That's when Stony Brook came into the picture! I was looking for schools with
a great technical background and saw that Stony Brook offered Human Computer Interaction courses
that would fit perfectly into what I want to do later in life, which is Graphic Design and UX/UI Design.
Now that I'm here, I'm enjoying every minute of it and can't wait to see what I get out of my classes.

intensively and to think critically.
Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education."
