My Favorite Singers/Bands

Many of my favorite music comes from Japan. Japanese music is very unique. Today's popular Japanese songs are mostly discovered through anime. These are some of my favorite bands/singers from Japan:

Name Description Image
Supercell Supercell is a band led by Ryo, a songwriter. Their music began with using Vocaloids, but transitioned to human singers, first being Nagi Yanagi and currently Koeda. Supercell
Vocaloids Vocaloids are singing voice synthesizers that allow anyone with the program to create masterpieces. The main and most popular Vocaloids are Miku Hatsune, Len and Rin Kagamine, Luka Megurine, Gumi, Kaito, and Meiko. Miku Hatsune is the most famous and popular out of the group. Songs are created by fans and music groups. Vocaloid
SID SID is a Japanese visual kei rock band, with the members Mao, Shinji, Aki, and Yuuya. They release music for a broad audience. Many of their songs are featured as anime openings and endings. SID
Hanatan Hanatan is a Japanese singer known for her extremely beautiful and high pitched voice. Her songs are known for being very expressive. She does covers for Vocaloid songs. Hanatan
96neko 96neko is a singer who also does Vocaloid covers. She has a wide vocal range, though she mostly sings with her husky voice. 96Neko

My favorite of the list are Vocaloids.

Miku Len and Rin Luka Meiko Kaito Gumi

With artists and groups around the world creating music for Vocaloids, the music can appeal to anyone. The music doesn't have to be in Japanese either; the Vocaloids are being made to work with English better as well. There's bound to be a Vocaloid song that you would enjoy.
