can be found exploring from the depths of the oceans to the surface
of Mars. Robots handle the 3 D's, jobs that are Dirty, Dull or
Dangerous. They are also used in applications where precision
is critical. We all know that robots are controlled by computers,
but what are the mechanics of their motion? How can a robot be
built to work with delicate components or with superhuman strength?
