Communicating Science
As a graduate student, I participated heavily in programs through the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science. This center is focused on training scientists to effectively communicate their science to both scientists and non-scientists. Their courses center on 2 main pillars: Improvisational Theater techniques and Distilling Your Message.

Through the Alda Center, I co-host a science show, Science Unplugged Live. Click here for more information and to watch previous episodes.

Additionally, I have been involved with the NASA FameLab Science Communication Contest at Stony Brook in 2015 and in Washington, D.C. in 2016.
