I'm currently attending Stony Brook University as an Undergraduate Student pursuing a Computer Science degree. I aspire to further my education afterwards and pursue a career in Data Security. I chose Data Security because I've always been interested in Law Enforcement and security in general. Protecting the electronic interests of companies, ensuring people's financial's remain protected, and upholding HIPAA/PHI (Personal Health Information) laws.
During my tenure at Stony Brook University I've interned in the legal department of a Fortune 500 company (Henry Schein) and worked as a Teller at Bethpage Federal Credit Union. Both of these experiences helped shape my work ethic and desire to do something in the corporate or government realm.
My main objective for the future is to obtain a career in the Data Security Field.
My hobbies include collecting cards, playing video games, and reading. For a more in-depth description of my hobbies, please click here.
I also have a very interesting family history. On my Father's side I'm related to L. Frank Baum, the author of the 'Wizard of Oz', relatives who fought in the Revolutionary War, and the founders of Hartford, Connecticut. On my Mother's side, my great Grandfather was an immigrant from Italy and owned a speakeasy during the prohibition and my Grandfather's Uncle was featured in the book 'Murder Inc.' for his organized crime activities.
