THE PLAY

STOP KISS is a play that makes us face our identity.  Do we sit passively and let life bend us like a reed, blowing us where it wants?   Or do we make choices, commit to them, and grab life fully with all its pain and glory?

STOP KISS is set in fast, fun and sometimes frightening New York City where Callie has been living for several years.  She appears passive and, when we are first introduced to her, she can only show real enthusiasm and commitment in her selection of restaurants.   Enter Sara, a newcomer to New York, who is passionate about her new job, is extremely focused and unabashedly unafraid.  This play is about their evolving friendship, their falling in love, and how it changes their lives. With their first kiss, a long awaited kiss, their lives change beyond what they could ever imagine.
