We will continue our CARA Movie Night this coming Saturday,
February 11. The movie is " Hide and Seek". Smita will go get
drinks, and Sudipto will order pizza. I have already made the new flyers
for this week. Tomorrow(Feb. 9th) Matt will put all the printed-out copies
in our CARA mailbox in Chapin office. We will go pick them up and distribute
them to each apartment by ourselves. The initial plan is as follows: I will
take care of A/B/C, Sudipto D/E/F, Smita G/H/I, and Anna will do J/K/L.
-
As for the food and drink for the Movie Night event,
we decide to order 16 boxes of pizza and 6 packs of soda, according to our
experience of the first Movie Night last week and a rough estimation.
-
We will have two hosts every week for the Movie Night
event. The hosts need to come to CCC before 7:45pm, open the door, set up
all tables and chairs, turn on the TV, and place well all the food and drink.
All these should be done before the residents come in.
-
As one part of resident safety program, Anna will make
one flyer about the ride/walk service provided by University Police, specifically,
the time of service available and the telephone numbers. This flyer will
be posted on Chapin Bus Stop.
-
We already put the BlackBoard enrollment information
for CARA forum in Chapin newsletter that will come out soon hopefully. We
will see whether this will help us get most Chapin residents in our maillist.
Email is believed to be the most efficient way to inform all the residents
our coming events.

I will put the announcement of CARA Movie Night event
on our official web page. Also, I will upload all the minutes of our E-board
meeting this semester. By the way, I suggest that we set up a forum in Blackboard,
and post all the coming events and our future plans there. Residents can
also post their concerns and suggestions on the forum. Hopefully this forum
will become a good channel to communicate will all the residents.
-
I suggest that we take pictures for our Movie Night.
We can put the Pictures on our official website. These pictures will become
an invaluable memory of our effort.
