Welcome to the website for Stony Brook University Crew, the oldest and most storied sport at Stony Brook University. Established in 1958, Stony Brook Crew has proven to be a consistent force in the rowing community, whether it be during its varsity days or its undefeated seasons as a club sport. We continue to field all sizes of boats in varsity and novice competition, and hope in the 2008-2009 academic year to once again prove ourselves in the face of intense intercollegiate competition. Armed with a brand new coaching staff, the team has shown that it belongs amongst the elite in club rowing.

The team practices every morning from 6-8 AM. We also have administrative meetings at 12:50 in the Student Activities Center, room 306 on Wednesdays.

Stony Brook Crew is now making a special effort to get our fans, team alumni and the families of our rowers involved with our exciting activities. Please visit our alumni/boosters page to sign up for the brand new, Stony Brook University sponsored Alumni Affinity Group. The group produces a tri-yearly newsletter for its members and the public, and holds events on campus, at our docks, and at race locations up and down the eastern seaboad. Membership is free so sign up and rejoin the team!
