Queer Studies Lectures and Events Courses Campus Resources Off-Campus Resources

SUNY Stony Brook is in the process of developing a Queer Studies Program. We are not there yet, but a large coalition of individuals – faculty, staff, administrators, undergraduate and graduate students – have been meeting regularly to lay the groundwork. In this website, you will find the fruits of just one semester's organizing – classes, coming out groups, lectures, conferences and the like. If we can pull this off in one semester, wait till you see what this University community can do in a year. Our goal is nothing less than to make Stony Brook a world-class center for queer studies teaching and scholarship. Thanks for visiting and please feel free to offer us your ideas, suggestions, and energies. If you'd like to join us, send an email to Jonathan.Katz@sunysb.edu.
