Connecting To MySBfiles From a MAC on the Campus Network

If you are using a machine is a SINC Site (PC or MAC), you should automatically connect
to your MySBfiles when you log into the machine.
To Access MySBfiles from a SINC Site:
- On Windows workstations, the SB Drive can be accessed via the X: drive,
which you can choose from "My Computer" - On MAC workstations, the MySBfiles is mounted and accessible via an icon
on the screen.

IMPORTANT: This method is only available from MAC workstations on the campus network.

On the Go menu, click Connect to Server. . ., type in the following for the Server Address and click Connect:
smb://MySBfiles.campus.stonybrook.edu/~NetID
(Note: replace the word NetID with your actual NetID)

You will then be prompted to authenticate. The Workgroup or Domain field should contain SUNYSB.EDU. Enter your NetID and password in the appropriate fields and click OK.

MySBfiles has now been mounted and you can access it just as you would any other volume.
