Connecting To MySBfiles From a PC on the Campus Network

If you are using a machine is a SINC Site (PC or MAC), you should automatically connect
to your MySBfiles when you log into the machine.
To Access MySBfiles from a SINC Site:
- On Windows workstations, MySBfiles can be accessed via the X: drive,
which you can choose from "My Computer" - On MAC workstations, the MySBfiles is mounted and accessible via an icon
on the screen.
Mapping a Network Drive from a PC on the Campus Network
IMPORTANT: This method is only available from PC's on the campus network.

Open Windows Explorer. From the Tools menu, click Map Network Drive . . .

Select an available Drive letter (Y in this example) and type in the following for Folder:
\\MySBfiles.campus.stonybrook.edu\~NetID
(Note: replace the word NetID with your Actual NetID)

If you are already logged into the SUNYSB.EDU domain, you can click Finish, otherwise first click Connect using a different user name and enter your appropriate user credentials. In the Connect As dialog box you can enter your NetID credentials in one of two ways:
SUNYSB.EDU\NetID
- or -
NetID@campus.stonybrook.edu

(Note: replace the word NetID with your actual NetID and remember to enter your password before clicking OK) - MySBfiles is now accessible using the drive letter you mapped it to.
