Biography
In May of 2002, I moved back home to Long Island, NY! I had lived with my family for a few months before beginning
my studies in Biomedical Engineering at the
State University of New York at Stony Brook. I'm working on my
PhD specializing in medical physics and currently reside on the north shore in Port Jefferson.
Before moving back to Long Island, I was living in Chicago
(the best city in the world) for six years. I originally went there for school and
then just stayed for the shopping and pizza! Just kidding, I think my wonderful friends, who
I miss so much, had something to do with it!
Before moving to Chicago, I attended high school in West Islip, a small town on the south shore of
Long Island (really close to the beach!!!). I lived with my family including my parents, four brothers,
1 sister, and a small zoo of domesticated animals. I am very happy to be near them again!

PhD Progress
Education
Undergraduate: I went to the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago where I earned my bachelor's
in computer engineering.
Graduate: I'm currently attending the State University of New York at Stony Brook where I completed my
master of science degree in biomedical engineering in May 2004. My efforts are concentrated on completion
of my PhD Thesis on polymer:fullerene bulk heterojunction solar cells.
