A little something about myself:
I was born in the city of Hong Kong (now a part of China) a long, long time ago. I moved to the U.S. when I was 8 years old. As any stereotypic of new Chinese immigrants, my family owned a Chinese fast food restaurant, where I spent my entire childhood.
The first college that I attended was SUNY at Old Westbury. I promptly got out of that school after one semester, and "upgraded" myself to Stony Brook. As an undergrad, I studied biochemistry because people kept telling me that it was hard. This was probably one of the stupidest choices that I have ever made, since I find that subject kind of boring. Luckily, after I graduated I found the BME department here and found it to be much more interesting. I then got myself into the post-baccalaureate program here in order to learn all the necessary engineering principles to apply for graduate school. Apparently I did pretty well since I actually made it to graduate school here.
