Line 11: Line 11:
The two midterms together will count for 40% of your total grade. For each student I take the best of 15% Midterm 1 and 25% Midterm 2 OR 25% Midterm 1 and 15% Midterm 2. To estimate your current overall score I have created a column in Blackboard that uses this combined midterm score as 75% and your homework to date as 25%, which represents the balance of assessment types in the final overall score. So these estimates represent the grade you will most likely get if you perform similarly on the Final to the midterms. That said, the Final is worth 35% of the total grade, so is is possible for your overall score to change substantially. There may be a small amount of flexibility in the boundary lines shown here, but these should give a fairly good idea of where you stand based on your performance to date.  The two midterms together will count for 40% of your total grade.
